Nestled in peaceful countryside, our family enjoyed a tranquil retreat at this hotel. The rooms were well-furnished with comfortable beds and clean bedding. The location was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities. the staff were accommodating and welcoming, making our stay all the more enjoyable.

Our only gripe was the lack of heating in the room. The wall-heater was not sufficient for the chilly weather and left us feeling slightly uncomfortable.

This was one of the prettiest hotels we have ever stayed in in Europe, there is a wall of glass in the room that opens on a forest, and the decor is very relaxing. Just beautiful!

As is typical throughout Europe, the rooms are small. But everything was there, and in perfect working order, clean, new.

This hotel is under new ownership and management. Guislaine & Joel have made many improvements to the hotel. Although they have more work to do the hotel shows great promise for 2013.

Guislane & Joel have a preference for speaking English to British guests rather than French. Which does not help our French!

We had an amazing time at this hotel! The location was perfect for us, as it was just a short walk to the village. We also loved the hotel facilities, especially the children's climbing frame and trampoline which kept our kids entertained for hours. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They even allowed us to order food after the kitchen had closed. The rooms were tastefully decorated and had wonderful natural lighting. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast offerings.

Lovely setting surrounded by woods, free car park, and warm welcome with fluent English speakers. Clean and comfortable room with a garden view. The food in the restaurant is good value for money.

The room needed more heating, and stairs lacked non-slip covering. There wasn't much choice of beverages in the bar.

This hotel is a wonderful family-friendly retreat. The staff is extremely kind and accommodating, ensuring we could check in early and order food after hours. The spacious room and comfortable beds made for a relaxing stay, while the clean and well-equipped bathroom was a definite plus. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a great variety of meats and cheeses. The hotel also includes beautiful grounds and a play area for kids, perfect for a family getaway.

The only slight downside was the lack of non-slip covering on the stairs, which could be a bit slippery at night.
